Ida Lod is a musician and performer working primarily in interdisciplinary fields. Using voice, words, violin, movement, and various ways of interacting with her surroundings, she explores the connections between inner and outer worlds, as well as the relationship between the human body and non-human bodies.
Her work often revolves around themes of transformation, masking and unmasking, the body, and dreams—frequently seen through animistic perspectives. Many of her performances carry a ritualistic quality.
Ida creates her own works and also regularly collaborates with other artists. Over the years, she has frequently worked with artists such as Valeria Montti Colque, Benedikte Esperi, David Heikkinen, Kerstin Bragby and Andro Zverev.
Ida loves to bring her artistic work to places like conferences or seminares to help deepen themes, inspire reflection, and create memorable shared experiences
